I remade my necro just for the starter armor and it does make a difference on what spirit bond will trigger on quite a bit not so much important in FoW but other farming spots from my experience.

Oh hey BTW everyone this exact same build works for Grenth's Footprint if you're smart enough and I've managed a little bit of Jade/Mursaat farming in the beginning of Ring of Fire with it....
Just in case you didn't know this kinda build could work there.

I haven't seen any actual testing, so I wouldn't know if the graspings in UW would trigger SB if you're only wearing starter armor.. They could..

Kinda off topic, but yes, they should. The graspings sometimes trigger SB with the 15 AL, and when i use the FFS, they trigger it every time while im attacking. Im pretty sure that even though you woul dhave 5 armor more, they shouldnt be an issue.

Back on topic, I can make it to the skeletal army, but when I make it there, i usually get owned by the mesmers. I dont know if its them ripping more often, or me killing them to slowly ( so they have more chances to disenchant ), but somehow, im usually dead when i reach them. I tried waiting for them to fight the shadow army, but no dice, ive waited for 20 mins for the chance to run by, but again, no luck. Ive brought another cover enchant ( vigorous spirit ), but that just seems to get buried under the other two, so it doesnt really help. Any suggestions?

The 2 ether breaker groups are tough, I have a hard time killing them. I've seen that group tear so many pugs up it's funny.

Some spawns it is impossible to sneak by, thus the reason alot of solo rangers take ppl on a free chest run just to get past that group right there.

Tips :

Kite them, not in terms of running away from them but circle them like if you were boxing someone. That way you wont find yourself stuck in maelstorms, and chaos storms. If kiting, try not to trigger the impalars along the righthand wall. If you pop them thats 4 interrupts to deal with.

Try to aggro when mesmers have a decent amount of space between them, but not lined up at the tip of your aggro bubble. This way you will have time to get spirit bond up again when it gets shattered the first time.

Pray for fast cast to kick in.

Pray for faster recharge to kick in.

Keep the count on the first shatter and adjust for 2nd one.

Focus on taking one Ether breaker down first, any others that get hurt from Spiteful is a bonus. Wand your primary target w/e the chaos storms and maelstorms stop, focus on getting ip on your target if energy isnt completely roasted by e-surge, since it has very little chance to catch a cry.

Ok I just have a couple of quick questions regarding both your Uw and FoW builds:

Are they faster/more efficient than a 600 monk? Cause if so ill save a lot of money finishing mine

Which Build more profitable?

Thank you for your help and Amazing guides! I doubt I could find any better ones anywhere.

It really depends on your speed and consistancy. If you can get a smite run done in 15 mins, and get 3 ectos, theres 21k + other drops. A Full fissure run, up to, and including the forest, and the battle fields( dont know real name) can take hours, you definately will get many shards, and other drops, and have to start to salvage stuff about 1/8th of the way done. So your inventory limits your profit. However, saying you can solo FoW sounds alot better than saying I can solo a smite run.

Also, thanx for the tips Godlike Next time America has favor, ill go try it.

A good amount of morostav trail is also soloable with the build if you pull right and once again stay smart.
I will keep updating here for what the build can do so I don't make a whole new thread for the same build.

Ya it really is a fun build once you get the hang of rolling thru everything.

Those new nightfall pics look like abyssals on steroids..... Be pretty kool to see some evolved Shadow Army in the next chapter with new skills.

I'm tired of the whole grasping darkness ToPK thing, I want some crazy Shadow army invasion.

Here's the video for the Ether breakers for anyone interested. Also recorded main spawn of cave spiders if anyone is interested.

http://files.filefront.com/2_ether_b.../fileinfo.html

Puts on my face everytime I own them.

For the other breaker groups of the same make up, try to save a skeletal beserker from the wandering large patrols of skeletons for a battery, makes things alot easier. Unfortunately you can't do that with the first group of them unless you can sneak by.

Also updated guide with link and revised tactics vs the 2 ether breaker group.

Attribute quests are on the island in factions. They are alot easier to complete then the prophecies attribute quests.

I'm slowly farming away at other end of the spider tunnel. All those beasts back there are proving to be a real nuisance. Working up a simple effective strategy to clear all of them if you can tolerate alot of the 2 monk and 1 mesmer groups.

On a side note, I can clear the main spider spawn pretty damn fast now though with all the attempts to finish the guide

How do you take out a group with multiple abyssals on you? I always end up getting like 2 of them at once on my and with all the KD I can't get off my hexes or PS before I'm KD'ed again...it's pretty much gg.

Any solutions to this?
